Dexpanthenol

Dexpanthenol is an over-the-counter (OTC) topical skin cream used to treat dermatoses and eczema.

• Apply topically to affected area(s) once daily or every 12 hours

Warnings

This medication contains dexpanthenol. Do not take Panthoderm if you are allergic to dexpanthenol or any ingredients contained in this drug.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Use dexpanthenol with caution during pregnancy if benefits outweigh risks. Animal studies show risk and human studies are not available or neither animal nor human studies were done. Dexpanthenol is possibly excreted in milk; use with caution while breastfeeding. Pregnant or breastfeeding patients should seek the advice of their health professional before using over-the-counter (OTC) drugs.
