Side effects of QuilliChew ER and Quillivant XR that are similar include weight loss, anxiety, dizziness, irritability, mood swings, rapid heart rate, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or sleep problems (insomnia).
Side effects of QuilliChew ER that are different from Quillivant XR include aggression, headache, indigestion, dry mouth, nervousness, restlessness, agitation, spinning sensation (vertigo), tremor, blurred vision, palpitations, increased sweating, fever, and increased blood pressure.
Side effects of Quillivant XR that are different from QuilliChew ER include upset stomach, tics, eye pain, rash, the urge to scratch your skin, and increased blood pressure.
Both QuilliChew ER and Quillivant XR may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Withdrawal symptoms may occur if you suddenly stop taking QuilliChew ER or Quillivant XR.

QuilliChew ER may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you or your child uses. During pregnancy, QuilliChew ER should be used only if prescribed. It is unknown if it would affect a fetus. QuilliChew ER passes into breast milk. It is unknown if it would affect a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Withdrawal symptoms may occur if you suddenly stop taking QuilliChew ER.

Quillivant XR may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before using Quillivant XR; it is unknown if it will affect a fetus. Premature delivery and low birth weight have been seen in mothers dependent on stimulant products such as amphetamines. Quillivant XR passes into breast milk. Breastfeeding while using Quillivant XR is not recommended. Withdrawal symptoms may occur if you suddenly stop taking Quillivant XR.
How Should Quillichew ER Be Taken?
For patients 6 years and above, the recommended starting dose of QuilliChew ER is 20 mg given orally once daily in the morning.
How Should Quillivant XR Be Taken?
For patients 6 years of age and above, the recommended starting dose of Quillivant XR is 20 mg given orally once daily in the morning with or without food. The dosage may be increased weekly in increments of 10 mg to 20 mg per day. A daily dosage above 60 mg is not recommended.
