Hypotropia

Hypotropia is a variety of heterotropia in which there is manifest downward vertical deviation of the visual axis of one eye. Using the cover test, this manifests as upward movement of the uncovered eye. Depending on the affected eye, this finding is often described as a "leftover-right" or "right-over-left."
