History of severe anaphylactic reaction to ragweed vaccine

 

Cautions

May pre-medicate w/ antihistamine 1 hr before inj

Be aware for signs of anaphylaxis; observe pt. in office for 20-30 min. after inj

Do not administer during ragweed season (mid-August to end of Sept.)

Wait 24 hr after fever or acute asthma attack before administration
