Herpes Simplex Labialis

1000 mg PO qD-TID x 6-12 months

Topical: (Super Lysine Plus) applied q2hr x11days

 

Metabolic Alkalosis

10 g PO qDay divided doses for up to 5 days

Mechanism of action

Lysine inhibits replication of arginine-rich herpes viruses
