Adult dosage forms and strengths

- 0.9% iodine
Antibacterial & Absorbent Agent
Spread in1/8-1/4 inch to dry sterile gauze; apply gauze on wound
No more than 50 g per application; no more than 150 g/week
Change 3 times per week or when color turns to yellow/gray
Other Indications & Uses
Cleaning wet ulcers & wounds; reduces microbial load including MRSA, absorbs exudate, helps in debridement, creates moist wound environment, & retards eschar formation
