Duration: 2-60 min (fasting); up to 3 hr (1 hr pc)
Excretion
Feces: 95% aluminium ions; 70% magnesium ions
Urine: 5% aluminum ions; up to 30% magnesium ions
Mechanism of action
Neutralizes gastric acidity by increasing gastric pH
