Dried mushroom: 1.5-9 g/d PO

Powder: 1-1.5 g/d PO

Tincture: 1 mL/d PO

 

Suggested uses of Ganoderma lucidum, ling chih (reishi)

To reduce high blood pressure, hypertriglyceridemia

Treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.

Supportive treatment during cancer chemotherapy

 

Efficacy:

Active ingredients, called ganoderic acids, appear to combat high BP & reduce LDL cholesterol & triglyceride levels; may also discourage platelet aggregation

Also contains antiangiogenic & other antimetastatic substances
