Pharmacology of Carmol 10, Keralac (urea)
Mechanism of action
Elicits emollient and keratolytic effects; softens hyperkeratotic areas by disolving intracellular matrix, which subsequently loosens horny layer of the skin, or softens and debrides the nail plate
