Jenloga and Inderal and Innopran belong to different drug classes. Jenloga is a central alpha agonist and Inderal and Innopran are beta-blockers.

Side effects of Jenloga and Inderal and Innopran that are similar include dizziness, fatigue/tiredness, constipation, nausea, and sleep problems (insomnia or unusual dreams).

Side effects of Jenloga that are different from Inderal and Innopran include dry mouth, drowsiness, and headache.

Side effects of Inderal and Innopran that are different from Jenloga include vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, rash, lightheadedness, vision changes, deceased sex drive, impotence, and difficulty having an orgasm.

Both Jenloga and Inderal and Innopran may interact with alcohol and antidepressants.

Jenloga may also interact with narcotic pain relievers, barbiturates, and benzodiazepine sedatives such as alprazolam (Xanax) and clonazepam (Klonopin).

Inderal and Innopran may also interact with blood thinners, drugs to treat high blood pressure or a prostate disorder, heart or blood pressure medicines, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and steroids.

Side effects of Jenloga include:

Inderal, Innopran may interact with clonidine, digitalis, dobutamine, haloperidol, isoproterenol, blood thinners, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), doxazosin, prazosin, terazosin, heart medications, amiodarone, propafenone, quinidine, or ACE inhibitors.

The recommended dose of Jenloga is 1 tablet, twice daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Inderal, Innopran is available in strengths of 10, 20, 40, 60, and 80 mg tablets for oral administration. Doses are variable; tablets should be swallowed not chewed.
