Nubeqa (darolutamide) and Xtandi (enzalutamide) are androgen receptor inhibitors indicated for the treatment of patients with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
Xtandi is used in patients who have previously received Docefrez (docetaxel).
Side effects of Nubeqa and that are similar include fatigue/tiredness.
Side effects of Nubeqa that are different from Xtandi include pain in extremities and rash.
Side effects of Xtandi that are different from Nubeqa include seizures, back pain, diarrhea, joint or muscle pain, hot flashes, flushing (warmth, redness, or hot feeling), headache, muscle weakness or stiffness, anxiety, dizziness, sleep problems (insomnia), numbness/burning pain/tingling/prickly feeling under your skin, swelling in your hands or feet, cold symptoms (such as stuffy nose, sneezing, and sore throat), high blood pressure (hypertension), upper respiratory tract infection, blood in the urine, urinary frequency, dry skin, itching, and nosebleeds.
Nubeqa may interact with rifampicin, itraconazole, midazolam, and rosuvastatin.
Xtandi may interact with other drugs.

How Should Nubeqa be Taken?
The dose of Nubeqa is 600 mg, (two 300 mg tablets) administered orally twice daily with food. Patients should also receive a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analog concurrently or should have had bilateral orchiectomy.
