Adhansia XR is used to treat ADHD in patients 6 years and older and Mydayis is used to treat ADHD in patients 13 years and older.
Side effects of Adhansia XR and Mydayis that are similar include insomnia, dry mouth, decreased appetite, and weight loss.
Side effects of Mydayis that are different from Adhansia XR include irritability, nausea, increased heart rate, anxiety, feeling jittery, tooth grinding, depression, diarrhea, palpitations, menstrual pain or cramping, and erectile dysfunction.
Both Adhansia XR and Mydayis may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and medications to treat excess stomach acid.
Mydayis may also interact with acidifying or alkalinizing agents (GI and urinary), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), triptans, antidepressants, fentanyl, lithium, tramadol, tryptophan, buspirone, St. John's wort, quinidine, and ritonavir.

How Should Adhansia XR be Taken?
The recommended starting dose of Adhansia XR for patients 6 years and older is 25 mg once daily in the morning. The dosage of Adhansia XR may be increased in increments of 10 to 15 mg at intervals of at least 5 days.
How Should Mydayis be Taken?
The recommended starting dose of Mydayis for adults and children 13 to 17 years is 12.5 mg.
