What Is Gvoke?
Gvoke (glucagon) Injection is an antihypoglycemic agent indicated for the treatment of severe hypoglycemia in pediatric and adult patients with diabetes ages 2 years and above.

Dosage for Gvoke
The recommended dose of Gvoke for adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older is 1 mg. The recommended dose of Gvoke for pediatric patients aged 2 to under 12 years of age is weight dependent.
What Drugs, Substances, or Supplements Interact with Gvoke?
Gvoke may interact with beta-blockers, indomethacin, and warfarin. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use.
Gvoke During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before using Gvoke; it is not expected to be harmful to a fetus. It is unknown if Gvoke passes into breast milk, however, glucagon is a peptide and would be expected to be broken down to its constituent amino acids in the infant's digestive tract and is unlikely to cause harm to an exposed infant. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.

Clinical Trials Experience
Because clinical trials are conducted under widely varying conditions, adverse reaction rates observed in the clinical trials of GVOKE cannot be directly compared to rates in the clinical trials of other drugs and may not reflect the rates observed in practice.
Adverse Reactions In Adult Patients
The safety of GVOKE was evaluated in two randomized, blinded, 2-way crossover studies conducted in adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus. In total, 154 patients received an injection of GVOKE [ see Clinical Studies].
The most common adverse reactions occurring in 2% or more of adult subjects treated with GVOKE during clinical trials are listed in Table 1.
