Naphcon A Side Effects Center
Naphcon A (naphazoline hydrochloride and pheniramine maleate) is a combination of a decongestant/redness reliever and an antihistamine used for the temporary relief of redness and itching of the eye(s) due to ragweed pollen, grass, and animal dander and hair. Naphcon A is available over-the-counter (OTC). Common side effects of Naphcon A include:
- eye stinging or redness,
- dilated pupils, or
- blurred vision

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

- eye pain; or
- changes in your vision.

- mild burning or stinging of the eye;
- dilated pupils, blurred vision; or
- eyes being more sensitive to light.
