Noni juice is used to reduce total cholesterol and triglyceride; to reduce chronic pain, painful inflammation and swelling (root extract); to treat diabetes (chewing leaves releases and activates soluble dietary fiber): slows absorption of simple sugars from gut; to treat parasitic infections (extract from leaves of Morinda citrifolia) i.e., intestinal nematodes; as an anti-inflammatory and acne reducer when applied topically; and for cancer: antitumor potential.

This medication contains noni_juice. Do not take ProAmatine or Orvaten if you are allergic to noni_juice or any ingredients contained in this drug.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to noni_juice or other calcium-channel blockers
  • Cardiogenic shock
  • Concomitant administration with strong CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin, rifabutin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine, St John's wort) significantly reduces noni_juice efficacy
  • Immediate release preparation (sublingually or orally) for urgent or emergent hypertension
