Watercress

Watercress suggested uses include bronchitis, cough, appetite stimulant, and arthritis.

Watercress is only proven effective for bronchitis and cough.

Watercress is available under the following different brands and other names: agriao, berro, berro di agua, brunnenkresse, crescione di Fonte, cresson au poulet, cresson de Fontaine, cresson deau, Indian cress, Mizu garashi, nas ilord, Nasturtium officinale, oranda garashi, scurvy grass, selada air, tall nasturtium, wasserkresse, and waterkres.

Dosages of Watercress:

Suggested Dosing

• Dried Watercress: 4-6 g/day
• Fresh Watercress: 20-30 g/day
• Watercress Juice: 60-150 g/day

Warnings

• This medication contains watercress. Do not take agriao, berro, berro di agua, brunnenkresse, crescione di Fonte, cresson au poulet, cresson de Fontaine, cresson deau, Indian cress, Mizu garashi, nasilord, Nasturtium officinale, oranda garashi, scurvy grass, selada air, tall nasturtium, wasserkresse, or waterkres if you are allergic to watercress or any ingredients contained in this drug.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

• Gastrointestinal (GI) ulcer
• Kidney inflammation
• Children under 4 years old

Cautions

• Large quantities may irritate the stomach/intestines.
