NADH

NADH suggested uses include treating chronic fatigue syndrome, improving mental clarity, alertness, and concentration, depression, jet lag, high blood pressure (hypertension), Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease. There is insufficient information on the effectiveness of NADH. Positive results are only from pilot studies or open-label studies.

NADH is ineffective for mild to moderate dementia from Alzheimer's disease.

NADH is available under the following different brand names: nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide.

Suggested Dosing

Nutrition and Energy Enhancement

• 2.5-5 mg orally once/day to once every other day

Alzheimer's Disease

• 10-15 mg orally once/day to once every other day

Parkinson's Disease

• 10-15 mg orally once/day to once every other day

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

• 10-15 mg orally once/day to once every other day

Warnings
