What Is ColciGel?

ColciGel (colchicinum 4X) transdermal gel is an alkaloid indicated for treatment and prophylaxis of gout flares in adults. ColciGel is not an analgesic medication and should not be used to treat pain from other causes.

Common side effects of ColciGel include:

Dosage for ColciGel

Apply a dose of 1 – 4 pumps of ColciGel up to four times per day. 1 application = 1 pump (0.25ml) covers an area 4" in diameter.

ColciGel may interact with other drugs. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use.

During pregnancy, ColciGel should be used only if prescribed. It is unknown if ColciGel passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
