Vyepti vs. Ajovy

Vyepti (eptinezumab-jjmr) and Ajovy (erenumab-aooe) are calcitonin gene-related peptide antagonists used to prevent migraine in adults.

The recommended dosage of Vyepti is 100 mg as an intravenous infusion over approximately 30 minutes every 3 months. Some patients may benefit from a dosage of 300 mg.

Two subcutaneous dosing options of Ajovy are available to administer the recommended dosage: 225 mg monthly, or 675 mg every 3 months (quarterly). The 675 mg quarterly dosage is administered as three consecutive injections of 225 mg each.
