Rituxan (rituximab) and Rituxan Hycela (rituximab and hyaluronidase human) are monoclonal antibodies used to treat different types of lymphomas.

Rituxan is also used in combination with another drug called methotrexate to treat symptoms of adult rheumatoid arthritis.

Rituxan Hycela is a combination of a monoclonal antibody and an endoglycosidase also used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Common side effects of Rituxan include:

• night sweats,

Rituxan Hycela (rituximab and hyaluronidase human) injection is a combination of a CD20-directed cytolytic antibody and an endoglycosidase, indicated for the treatment of adult patients with: Follicular Lymphoma (FL), Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).

Rituxan may interact with cisplatin, adalimumab, auranofin, azathioprine, cyclosporine, etanercept, infliximab, leflunomide, minocycline, sulfasalazine, blood pressure medications, or medication to treat malaria.

Rituxan Hycela may interact with other drugs and certain vaccines. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use and all vaccines you recently received.

Rituxan is administered under a physician's supervision. The dose of Rituxan varies depending on the disorder being treated and the number of infusions (doses) needed.

The dose of Rituxan Hycela depends on the condition being treated. All patients must receive at least one full dose of a rituximab product by intravenous infusion before receiving Rituxan Hycela by subcutaneous injection.
