Are Renflexis and Inflectra the Same Thing?
Inflectra (infliximab-dyyb) for Injection and Renflexis (infliximab-abda) for Injection are tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blockers used to reduce signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease, pediatric Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis (in combination with methotrexate), ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis.
Side effects of Inflectra and Renflexis that are similar include infections (upper respiratory infection, sinus infection, throat infection, bronchitis, urinary tract infection), cough, infusion-related reactions, headache, abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, rash, itching, fatigue, fever or chills, oral thrush/yeast infection, joint pain, and cardiopulmonary reactions (chest pain, high or low blood pressure, shortness of breath).
Side effects of Inflectra that are different from Renflexis include runny or stuffy nose and pain.
Side effects of Renflexis that are different from Inflectra include hives.
Both Inflectra and Renflexis may interact with anakinra, abatacept, tocilizumab, other biological therapeutics used to treat the same conditions, warfarin, cyclosporine, theophylline, and "live" vaccines.
Renflexis may also interact with methotrexate and immunosuppressants.

What Is Inflectra?
Inflectra (infliximab-dyyb) for Injection is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker indicated for reducing signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease, pediatric Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis (in combination with methotrexate), ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis.
What Is Renflexis?
Renflexis (infliximab-abda) for Injection is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker indicated for Crohn's disease, pediatric Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis.
What Drugs Interact With Inflectra?
Inflectra may interact with anakinra, abatacept, tocilizumab, other biological therapeutics used to treat the same conditions, warfarin, cyclosporine, theophylline, or "live" vaccines. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use and all vaccines you recently received. During pregnancy, Inflectra should be administered only if prescribed. It is unknown if it would affect a fetus. It is unknown if Inflectra passes into breast milk. Because of the potential for unwanted effects on a nursing infant, breastfeeding while using Inflectra is not recommended.
What Drugs Interact With Renflexis?
Renflexis may interact with anakinra, abatacept, tocilizumab, other biological therapeutics, "live" vaccines, methotrexate, immunosuppressants, warfarin, cyclosporine, or theophylline. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use and all vaccines you recently received. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before using Renflexis; it is unknown how it might affect a fetus. It is unknown if Renflexis passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
How Should Inflectra Be Taken?
Inflectra is administered by intravenous infusion and the dose is based on the patient's weight and the condition being treated.
How Should Renflexis Be Taken?
The dose and frequency of Renflexis is determined by the patient's body weight and the condition being treated
