Human reproductive cloning: Human cloning for the purposes of creating a human being. As opposed to what has been termed therapeutic cloning -- the process of taking genetic material from a cell of the body and transplanting it into an egg cell -- to produce stem cells which may be used to treat disorders such as diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
