Mary D. Nettleman, MD, MS, MACP, is the dean of the USD Sanford School of Medicine and vice president for health affairs at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Nettleman is a master and laureate of the American College of Physicians and a recipient of the CDC Shepard Award for excellence in scientific achievement. With more than 120 peer-reviewed publications and numerous externally funded grants, she is dually boarded in infectious diseases and internal medicine.
