Andy Miller has covered health care for the past 17 years. His reporting at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution won several journalism awards, and he serves as president of the Atlanta chapter of the Association of Health Care Journalists. Prior to his journalism career, he was a social studies teacher and basketball coach in North Carolina. He graduated from Duke University in 1973 with a B.A. in history and received a master's in social studies teaching in 1979, also from Duke.
